Bacon Lovers Unite!

Did you realize that there is a Bacon Festival in Arizona?  Neither did I, until I saw something come across on Facebook from friends who attended.

This event took place last weekend, May 18, at Reid Park in Tucson.

This is what I found -
cost was $25 for adults and included all bacon and beer samples
for kids 13 - 17 yrs of age, it was $10 and included all bacon and beverage samples
kids under the age of 13 were free with an adult paid admission and included all bacon and beverage samples

What could you expect when you got there?

Competitions of  bacon creations, live music, drawings, raffles, contest, kid zone, and lots of sampling of bacon.

I would attend this event just for the shear entertainment factor and the fact that is out doors helps, except for the admission cost.  I am not much of a meat eater and not a bacon eater at all;  I am not a beer drinker either, so the cost doesn't seem worth while.  Maybe if there was an ticket for the non drinking non bacon eater, I would feel different.

Lots of people must have enjoyed this event.  Take a look -

Looks like a bit of a disagreement about the bacon judging

So - if you are a bacon lover, add this event to your calendar, just in case they have a Second Annual Bacon Festival in Tucson, Arizona
