or perhaps the beautiful California areas like Santa Barbara, with it's rich soil and moist, humid air -
or Temecula -
But do you really think of the dusty deserts of Arizona? I bet not - unless you live in Arizona.
This is what I found to be a bit amazing - there are 43 Arizona wineries. I found this neat, as in complete, web site that not only list the vineyards in Arizona but also give you their web sites, if they have one available. By referring to this site, you can find special events, even the small ones, that each location will be hosting. You could also find pertinent information on the operations and background.
This is Dick Erath's vineyard in the Wilcox Arizona area.
What about a vineyard at the base of a barren, rocky mountain?
Explorer Arizona tagged Eric Glomski as a Wine Guru! Who would have thought we rate that!
I guess the point is - there really is something for
everyone in Arizona. If you are not the adventurous type who wants to
hike the mountain sides in 100 degree weather, or take a four wheel tour in a Pink Jeep, or fly around the Grand Canyon in a helicopter, you can drive right
up to the door of one of Arizona's Wineries, settle in a comfy chair and enjoy
the views of the desert mountains and a great glass of vino.
Weather you live in Arizona, are visiting Arizona, get out and enjoy Arizona.
