Arizona is Just Peachy

Nobody has to travel to Georgia to get that perfect peach.  Right in the Valley of the Sun, Schnepf Farms shines as a great grower of Arizona peaches.



Today begins the annual Peach Festival at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek and runs through May 27.  You can only imagine what they do and sell at a Peach Festival.  Let me fill you in on a few of the events.

Peach pit spitting contest (not my favorite)
Live music
Peachy rides including the peachy hay ride, for a small fee
Sampling of all kinds of desserts, candies and more
Food, food, food and more food - including pancake breakfast
and Many vendors

Here you can taste, eat, pick, purchase, and play, all in one location.  What a great day this would be for the entire.  The event if FREE with small charges for the food and events.  Check out the schedule of events and find more info on the official Schnepf Farms Peachy site.  Then but the coordinates in you GPS and head on out to enjoy the day.

One of the best draws to this event is that Schnepf Farms has a fantastic reputation and you can rely on their events to be perfect for the entire family.  The Farms has events all year long so weather you are a seasonal visitor or a local, I am sure that once you attend, you will return on a regular basis.
